Submission of a civil claim in criminal cases

This way of protecting the Bank’s interests is used only when the court considers criminal cases initiated by law enforcement bodies against official persons of the Customer or persons, illegal actions of which resulted in damage of the Bank’s interests.

The mentioned claim is to be submitted by Distressed Assets Recovery Unit by agreement with Legal Unit of the Bank within the shortest period of time after having initiated a criminal case but not later than judicial investigation will start.

If a civil claim in criminal case is not submitted due to the missed time period (due to objective reasons) or if the claim was not considered by the court, Distressed Assets Recovery Unit takes measures on submitting stated claims against the delinquent person in order of civil legal proceedings after the decision of the court will come into force in criminal case.
